#PersonalBestSkin with the right sunscreen, you can enjoy the great outdoors safely, even if you have sensitive skin. You can soak up the summer sun as long as you use sunscreen with strong UVA-UVB protection.
I have a family history of skin cancer and skin sensitivities. I have to make sure I apply my sunscreen every morning and then re-apply it every two hours over my makeup. It is possible to reapply sunscreen over top of makeup, even if you do have sensitive skin type, this video is also for you!
The way I see it, I no longer have any excuses about sunscreen not being suitable under my makeup, not being able to reapply sunscreen over cosmetics or not being able to find a strong daily use protective sunscreen for sensitive skin.

I used to have acne and sometimes it flares up (when I have an important event or period in my life where I need my skin to be clear). And if that wasn’t enough, I have dermatitis with the area giving me the most grief being the skin around my eyes.
It wasn’t until my daring mother was diagnosed with Melanoma that I started wearing sunscreens.
I get it, sunscreens are not an “alluring”, “coveted” skincare product. But they are THE MOST important skincare product that EVERYONE needs to use, whether it’s for skin cancer prevention or as an anti-aging product.
I lost my mum to Skin cancer (melanoma) a few months ago (July, 2020).
I never thought I’d lose my mum so soon and I never expected it would be due to a nasty, easily preventable disease like skin cancer (melanoma). My family is from the middle east and it’s something the older generation never considered or had to think about because our lifestyle here in Australia is so different from the way my mum grew up and lived in Iran.
I have a family history of melanoma now. It breaks my heart everyday not having my mum here with me.
I have included timestamps for you so you can quickly locate the parts of the video you are interested in seeing, if you are short on time. I highly recommend you revisit this video again for you to fully understand and appreciate its importance.

A very special thank you to Dermatologist Dr. Philip Tong.
