-In America, vote for your local mayors, district attorneys, state senators, attorney generals and representatives. However, I’ve learnt it is not enough to just say vote. Look into the people You are voting for. What are thy actively doing to help the community? How are they communicating to the people?
-In your workplace, contact the networks put in place to enforce inclusivity, diversity and equality of gender, race, sexual orientation and more. Ask them what initiatives can be put in place to spark conversation. To address this issues that are very well present today.
-As part of the beauty community I also urge you guys to support the #pulluporshutup movement created my Sharon Chuter leader of Uoma beauty and shared by Jackie Aina. This demands brands to state how many black employees they have in the organization and how many black people they have leadership roles. Continue to demand this information.
